Objective: Create a new Work Order (Simple)
You can create work orders on your assets to track expenses or revenues - such as parts, labor, and more. Simple work orders are single, non-segmented work orders.

Step-by-step Instructions
- Go to the Work Order Module from the welcome portal.
- From the upper right-hand corner, select Work Orders.
- Click Add New Work Order.
- A new work order window will open.
- If you have auto-numbered work orders enabled, a work order number will be generated when you save.
- Select your division, store, cost center, and priority.
- Search for the asset by unit number or serial number.
- Under Customer Info, the current owner of the asset will be displayed.
- This can be changed by searching for and selecting a different customer name.
- Select the customer's location and contact.
- Enter the description of the work order, for example: rebuild transmission, hydraulic hose leak, install window, and so on.
- Click Save, and the work order is saved.
- You'll be brought to the Work Order detail screen where you can:
- Edit Header: Allows you to edit information you've just entered.
- Cost Detail: Add additional cost codes, in addition to codes from service report entries, purchase orders, etc.
- Technicians: Click Add and Notify New Technician to add technicians to the work order. The technician will be notified via email and mobile app.
- Service Reports: Technicians can add their entries of work details, mileage, and time.
Notes:
- You can set user-default values to automatically fill in division, store, cost center, and priority.
