Inventory vs. Assets

Modified on Tue, Apr 23 at 4:38 PM

Objective: Highlighting the differences between Inventory and Assets

Vizybility allows you to track equipment assets - whether you own them or not - enabling you to gain insights and organize customer equipment to save time.

Contents
  1. Inventory
  2. Assets

You'll see the assets or inventory tab in different modules, for example assets and inventory is available within the CRM Module:

Inventory

Inventory contains equipment that is owned by you and only you. The inventory table does not contain a column that lists the company, as it should be already assumed that it is owned by you.

Assets

Assets contain all equipment - either customer owned or owned by you.

For the purpose of this demonstration, we'll call our heavy equipment dealership "My Awesome Dealership".
